It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Al Jazeera Agricultural Company, Al Thuraya slaughterhouse founded in 2008 located in Mafraq, 70 km from Amman.

The project stands out as the largest of its kind in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the field of poultry production and its derivatives. The project spans an area of over 211 dunams, making it a fully integrated village with its production departments. This exemplary village is managed by distinguished scientific staff with trained productivity efficiency. Moreover, the project has been equipped with the latest global technologies in poultry production, with the company importing machinery, equipment, and laboratory devices from leading companies specialized in this field.

The project established by Al Thuraya Company is a fully integrated slaughterhouse with very high technical and processing specifications, employing the latest methods, techniques, and modern technology to produce the highest quality products that meet the highest international standards.
