Al Jazeera Agricultural Company was founded in 2001 and includes Breeders Farms, Broiler farms, Hatchery and a Feed-Mill Factory.
The project is divided into two sections: breeding farms and production farms, each separated. The production project includes six parent farms and three breeding farms, all equipped with complete infrastructure and the latest poultry farming technologies. These facilities ensure the provision of heat, humidity, and ventilation for breeding, as well as the secure administration of medications and required vaccinations.
Additionally, there are well-equipped maintenance workshops, water wells to meet requirements, reception and delivery centers egg sorting and collection warehouses, and a biological security building to prevent external visitor access. There are separate buildings for workers and resident staff, along with fully equipped accommodations for administrators.
The farms have a total capacity of 500,000 for production and 250,000 for breeding, aiming to produce 52 million hatching eggs annually. Due to market expansion and increased local demand, the company underwent it’s first expansion in 2006, marking the initial phase of establishing the Boiler sector, expanding parent farms, and establishing a feed factory concurrently.
The Boiler farms began in the first phase in 2006 by establishing a farm with a capacity of 50 million birds annually, equipped with full biological safety specifications. The meat sector consists of 12 main sites containing breeding farms, where the ground is equipped and separated with complete infrastructure. They are furnished with the latest modern technologies and the highest poultry production technology to ensure heat, humidity, and ventilation, and to provide medications and required vaccinations safely.
In addition to a well-equipped maintenance workshop and water wells to meet requirements, there is a center for reception and delivery, a reception building, and a biological safety building to prevent external visitor access. There are separate buildings for workers and resident staff, along with fully equipped accommodations for administrators.
The construction of Al Jazeera Agricultural Hatchery began in 2003 to incubate the eggs produced by the breeder farms, ensuring the company’s needs and meeting local market demand. The project includes an isolated building equipped with the latest heating and cooling systems, reception and egg sorting halls, an egg storage warehouse equipped with modern egg turning devices, incubation machines, and sorting rooms for hens.
There is also a dedicated area equipped for vaccination, a washbasin for cages, a backup power generator, a water purification station, a maintenance building, and storage facilities for spare parts. The hatchery has a production capacity of 52 million broiler eggs annually, some of which are raised on the company’s farms and sold in local or regional markets. To ensure the quality of the eggs produced, periodic swabs and samples are taken to test the effectiveness of the disinfectants used in the hatchery.
In order to integrate the production and nutrition needs of poultry for the ancestors, breeders and broiler sectors of the company, Al Jazeera established a plant dedicated to national production of fodder crops in 2006, meeting the company’s then current and future needs. The plant produces feed for grandparents, breeders and broilers to cover the companys domestic and export to local markets.
The feed is transported using vehicles equipped with tanks featuring screw conveyors for precise delivery of the feed in the required form. The factory has a capacity of 40 tons per hour. To ensure quality and produce the desired output, a specialized laboratory has been established, meeting the highest international standards and being considered the first of its kind in the Middle East. This lab examines all production inputs and the final product, ensuring compliance with all specifications using infrared radiation equipment.
In order to complete the production cycle of Grandparents Company, a hatchery equipped with the best technology was established with a production capacity of 2 million breeder chicks annually. In 2011, the hatchery was expanded and refurbished.
Experienced engineers and veterinarians are employed to ensure that the sold are free of diseases. Al Jazeera Poultry Company is targeting the most important local, regional and international companies seeking to obtain first class breeders chicks with international production specifications, at competitive prices and the same quality available in international markets. Al Jazeera provides the highest after-sale technical support to reach the best results.
